If these algorithms work better with lighter-skinned people (as has happened in the past), could they have a discrimination issue on their hands?
- asteroidbelt 5y agoPlease do not suggest something is racist unless you have some evidence. Not everything in the world is about race. There could be 1000 other factors in play and any combination of them. I know nothing about the algorithm, but I imagine the algorithm could discriminate people who don’t smile, have face tattoos or just untidy.
