    18. I’m guessing GP was about the same age, give or take. Kind of like how SNL peaked when everyone was 16 and has been downhill ever since.

It was mind blowing indeed. It was such an adventure building stuff on the web back then. We didn't have the choice we have today. I don't think Google became "evil". It just realised (or remembered) it's a business.

    99.99% of businesses are NOT evil. But Google most certainly IS actively evil - perhaps the most evil of an increasingly evil lot. ...and I don't use the word evil lightly.

      I strongly believe between evil and stupidity/incompetence the latter wins, always.
