TL;DR: if we as society in the large had a broader mind as to what males might do/say/prefer and what females might do/say/prefer, there’s be a lot less interest by many in changing their body parts. We conflate body parts with a relatively small set of behaviors right now. Maybe so. Shifting in that direction would be unsettling for many. MANY many. But fears would be as overblown as always: “oh no, no one will get married anymore, they’ll just pork goats all day” was the cry as non-hetero marriage was coming in.
