Imagine the dirt the tech giants have on all government officials on the planet. Imagine if the tech giants went on a human rights offensive against the state.
- slipframe 5y agoI hope they don't get into the habit of blackmailing politicians when the cause is just. For one, because Google's perception of justice may not always be right. For another, because once they get into that habit, once they have established the methods and procedures for doing it, could we really trust them to not abuse this tool simply for their own profit?
