Linux as the main OS with windows as a guest VM feels like the right idea for me. Setting this up with gpu pass-through is on my todo list!

  Not unless your hypervisor can emulate a TPM chip.

    I don't think most of these restrictions apply if you're running in a VM anyway. Plus, they don't think they want to break VM support, either on a personal or business level.

      They kinda can't seeing as that's kind of the goal with Azure with cloud based VM's and whatnot.
