YouTube microstrategy scam video earns $400k
- hamiltonians 5y agoWay more lucrative than ransomware, that's for sure. And not having to worry about the FBI or tainted bitcoin either. As it turns out, you can make more $ scamming random people, than high profile targets and getting unnecessary media coverage that blows open the operation. They are bypassing youtube's filters by having the first 30-60 miutes of the live video play random stuff and then switching to the scam video

- hamiltonians 5y agothat is just one video and one wallet. they are running videos all day. And also, the typical business ransomware payout is only 100-150k.
- ttyprintk 5y agoHmm, I wonder if we’ll see a John McAfee last-message deep fakes scam.

- tootahe45 5y agoSending large amounts to yourself is a tactic to make it look to victims as though others are cashing in on the deal. There's nothing to suggest this wasn't the case here. Holding 400k in BTC during a bear market suggest the scammers have gotten quite wealthy though. Does anybody know why the article redirected me to this link https://array/?u=%E2%80%A6&o=%E2%80%A6&m=1 https://array/?u=%E2%80%A6&o=%E2%80%A6&m=1 ? am i hacked?
