"Front" camera? What an odd way to phrase it, like saying your "north" hand.

  Where would you say the screen on a laptop was? On the inside maybe? If you place a phone on your desk do you plug the charger in the front, side or bottom?

    Adding "front" implies front facing camera. facing things in front of me. Why not just say user facing, if that's what they mean? My phone has a microusb jack on the top. [Edit] It doesn't have any camera.

        That's on phones. I don't think it's initially obvious the same terminology applies to laptops, because it hasn't been the norm to have a camera on the other side. The "back" isn't a part of the computer you normally are pointing at anything. It's not a big deal, but I'm on the side that it is something that has to be explained.

        FWIW, my Surface Book has a camera on both the front and that back (because it can be used as a tablet).

    If I am sitting in a car seat, with a laptop open and in use, then the "front" of the car is in the same direction as the alleged "back" of the laptop. And vice versa.

By 2023 I will require new laptops to have Linux

  Yup. Windows 10 had enough intrusions but was a decent enough experience that I tolerate it. Windows 11 is gonna be an absolute no-go for me I think.

So cortina can watch you unless you uncheck the 5-6 planned checkboxes they will hide in the settings and re-check every feature update? It’s for your best experience you know (speculating/joking/not joking)

The sky is falling! Oh no it is not, even the laptops from the major manufacturers come with a manual slide shutter for the camera built in.
