Apple Is Not Your Friend
- zepto 5y agoWhat an absurdly weak piece. Their primary argument is that Apple is lying about its environmental goals because the employees at Apple Park drive to work, and because 3rd party repairs of Apple devices are difficult. Both of these are definitely areas that they could improve, but the thesis is absurd, and frankly intellectually dishonest. Then they go on to say Apple is ‘profiting from disaster’, because people who worked from at home during the pandemic bought more computers. This is just a hit piece. Why isn’t jacobin auto-flagged like breitbart? I can’t tell them apart.

- 3gg 5y agoI like that dramatic ending, "Apple Won't Save Us." The Lord has left the chat room.
