A friend's firm introduced a 3 phased return-to-the-office plan: 1 - volunteer (for those dying to come back) 2 - request (we'd really like you to come back now) 3 - require (come back or you're fired) Each phase is spread a couple months apart beginning now. Seems like a reasonable approach.
