A certain very well known movie actress has an otherwise well known father who shares the same name as me. He's not a serial killer thankfully, and nor am I (also thankfully), but there was a while where googling "our" name would result in a little Google info block with his information, adorned with my significantly younger face pic. They fixed it eventually. There are occasional periods where someone messes up the gmail address, and I get a flood of hotel reminders and trade show invites that are actually meant for my more famous namesake. We are in completely different industries, so thankfully it's easy to tell when that happens. He's retired now, so it's stopped lately. I like to think every time I upload another video on YouTube or whatever, he thinks, "Oh, hell no!" and gets stuck having to defend his taste in music with the family.
