We use the hosted version of Quickbooks and contract with a bookkeeper and an accountant. There is enough red-tape involved with running a company that we found it easier to just pay someone to take away the pain. We also chose quickbooks b/c we didn't want to be too innovative on something that wasn't strategic to our business.
