I can't believe we're just glossing over the fact that everyone who has been compromised probably has an intruder still sitting on their LAN, or at least a big hole in their network somewhere. The request came from somewhere, and most people don't willingly forward ports to these devices. You're all worried that the data is gone, maybe you should be worried that someone might have taken it.
