While I am pro-remote work - I do find it crazy that professors are considered the "experts" of how to run an office over successful CEOS.

?A 2019 study by Harvard's Ethan Bernstein and Ben Waber (then at MIT), found workers at companies that switched from cubicles to open-floor-plan offices had 70% fewer face-to-face interactions.
Office workers may talk, but "there is almost no data whatsoever" to suggest it helps the organization, Bernstein recently told the New York Times.
First off, the first data point has nothing to do with remote versus in office. We don't even know if the CEOs mentioned have companies with open floor plans or cubicles - and even if that have a low amount of face-to-face interactions in the office still have more face-to-face interaction than remote.
