But yes, many would consider LGBT groups to be a "politically adjacent topic" (to quote myself), just as groups like gun enthusiasts or crime watch networks would be. If literacy became a political hot topic then yes, book clubs would be politically adjacent too. I share your opinion that even modern liberal society is way behind on the issue you bring up, but that's all the more reason to distrust labeling by FB.
