Is this true though? I look at the massive Opensource projects that have been successfully running for decades (Linux, Python, etc) and wonder if success is down to human contact?
Sure it's great to have conferences, meet-and-greets, etc... but for the day-to-day running of development I'm not so sure we need to be sat next to each other.
