I've had skin rashes every year in winter since moving here, except mysteriously (or not ...) this winter. I blame the conditioned air in the office. Summer isn't better either. Outside I can't take off enough clothes to stay non-sweaty and then I come into a freezer in the office. Sweaty and with not enough clothes on me. I literally wear _more_ to the office in summer than I do in winter, because the ice cold air is blowing around (and for some time I was so unlucky that I had a seat right under a vent).

And it was bad — enough that I had no doubt it caused bloody noses and colds. I don’t think he ever got it fixed, but a few years later we’re all working from home and can humidify or dehumidify or space heat or wear shorts at will, so I suppose wherever he is, he’s happy… I know I am.
