When ever I see someone talk about “safe space”, I ask myself, “safe space for which ideas?” The things that are safe to discuss are different at thanksgiving dinner, a college designated safe-space, a therapist’s office, or a church meeting. There is no such thing as a universal “safe space” for all ideas.
