People here don’t seem to get the basic fact that the industrial union made off shoring more attractive, not less.
- Ericson2314 5y agoYes, but the solution to a race to the bottom isn't to not be the top. We need unions and capital controls based on the counterparty's labor and environmental standards.
- BobbyJo 5y agoThat's a shared understanding of acceptable working conditions informing both union policy and import/export policy. Unions as an output of a much larger change upstream, as opposed to an input when talking about outsourcing.
