- Normille 5y agoYes. I've seen this recommendation [and also to use UBO in 'medium' mode]. I'm not sure where the settings are to switch these modes. Does clicking the 'More' button to present the expanded popup window do it?... or do I enable it elsewhere? I can't find anything in the settings
- sralbert 5y agoAfter checking "I am an advanced user" you will see a grid like the first image on this page when you click the more button: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Blocking-mode:-medium-mode https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/Blocking-mode:-medium... From there you can block 3rd party scripts and frames. To save the rule you need to commit it in the "My rules" pane by clicking on the temporary rule you added.
- Normille 5y agoAh. Got it. Thanks. I think I'm going to have to spend some time reading uBlock Origin's docs. I've pretty much just left it on default settings up to now and used uMatrix for all my individual site tweaking.
