- vetrom 5y agoHow is right to trial in the UK codified in terms of their legal tradition? Is that covered in the (implicit) English Constitution, or their case law somewhere?
- Threeve303 5y agoI’m not an expert on UK law. However this has been generally accepted for about a millennium: The Magna Carta - “No free man shall be seized, imprisoned, dispossessed, outlawed, exiled or ruined in any way, nor in any way proceeded against, except by the lawful judgement of his peers and the law of the land.”
