US blocks websites linked to Iranian disinformation

In the same fashion certain countries would censor sites by blocking access to them from within their networks. Seizing is taking control of the infrastructure (or domain name) to take a site online globally. It sounds like this was a seizure.
- 0x6A75616E 5y agop.s. this was only possible because a US entity (VeriSign) controls the .com TLD, and therefore any .com domain is subject to this sort of action.
