A better question is who depends upon you? Are you single? Married with children? It isn't just you when this discussion comes up. If you drop your job to pursue a pegasus, are you the only one without health insurance, dental etc??? Do it on the side if you do it all. I've been broke all my life and while I wouldn't have pursued the two most logical paths to better money because I believed they would not have made me a better person, I cannot advocate for someone giving up the means that comes with a successful career. I think you should keep your job, bank as much money as possible and scratch your itch in your off hours and on weekends. Just my half penny. HTH
