Not a particularly interesting thread since the OP doesn’t have a coherent definition of what they consider a monopoly.
They believe that Uber Eats is a monopoly, but that is a super competitive space.
A more accurate title would be “CMV: Tech companies I do not like should be banned as a class”
- Kinrany 5y agoYou're right that Uber Eats is not yet a monopoly. What I meant is that it's the kind of platform that eventually turns into one, and wouldn't exist if that wasn't the goal. The phrasing is still wrong though.
