- redisman 5y agoI’m sorry compared to the US? SE Asia did multiple orders of magnitude better. The worst in South America were on par with the US
- nine_zeros 5y agoYou do you. The rest of us don't like a healthcare system that REQUIRES me to have full time employment, routinely bankrupts, gets specialist appointments after months and causes intense mental stress. I'll happily trade a lifetime of servitude for 2 months delay in vaccination.
- ampdepolymerase 5y agoHN is often awfully quiet when authoritarianism is practiced by non-superpower countries. If you think the big Asian economic powers are paternalistic, then I doubt you will find SE Asia to be to your liking. Do not mistake the rose tinted glamour of tourism and sunny beaches of nations in that region as sharing the same values as your typical western nation. Digital nomads and tax havens do not a manifest destiny make.
