- Animats 5y agoYou're closer than I was. A maximum-load launch consumes 121 megajoules, which is 121 megawatt-seconds. Catapult launches take about 2s, so they need 60MW or so.
- yread 5y agoMakes sense, F16 is about 5-10 times heavier than model S and it needs to go in 2s from 0 not to 100 but to 200km/h
