Appears to be one server where login is failing. Specifically, https://registry.hub.docker.com/v2 https://registry.hub.docker.com/v2.
Normal "docker login" works, it chooses an alternative server probably after the first one fails.
docker login --username <username> https://registry.hub.docker.com https://registry.hub.docker.com will not work
