Now that the Trump movement has run it's course it's kinda jarring to see how little a popular uprising can accomplish when it's entirely described and disseminated via meme. Even Trump's most obvious, easy to execute plans failed. Memes couldn't even build a functional wall let alone fix healthcare or even repeal what exists, even with a majority in all branches of government. Memes aren't necessarily a bad way of disseminating information, the ideas they spread are necessarily intellectually reduced and ineffective in implementation.
