Does anyone think it's any coincidence that the woke mob began cancelling people, and almost immediately it seems like every corporate entity in existence is "woke"?
Intimidation sadly works.
- orthecreedence 5y agoSeeing the rainbow flag in every corporate logo is such a vapid and empty gesture. Those entities don't give a fuck about queers, they just want to signal to a bunch of equally vapid people who would otherwise whine and stamp their feet. I'm sick of the whole thing. "Rainbow capitalism."
- joeldg 5y agothe "woke" are just one side there... the right-wing was always the original cancel-mob.. Christian right-wingers were using cancel tactics decades ago--D&D, Heavy Metal, Comedians, Satanic Panic (people went to jail). Hell, my mom burned my D&D set. ... all the boycots and so on.. the 'woke' folks are just turning it around I think.
