Hey Peter! I'm a Panamanian software engineer working remotely for a software development firm based in SF. I'd like to move to the US, but I don't want my visa to be linked to my current job. I'm looking for a merit-based/skill-based visa of some sort, so that my geographic location isn't tied to any company. Is there anything that comes to mind? Any reading to recommend?
