Full disclosure: I got vaccinated with Pfizer as soon as the vaccines were available, and considered any all the anti-vaxxers as insane conspiracy theorists. I encouraged every one I knew to get the vaccine - even my parents who've gotten COVID before.
Apparently I was fooled into believing that the vaccines are perfectly safe because I listened to scientists/virologists who simply explained the mechanisms behind the mRNA vaccine itself, but never mentioned the other assumptions behind the vaccine - such as the possible toxicity of the spike protein itself, or the fact that the spike protein which was supposed to be anchored is actually free and accumulates in dangerous levels in various tissues, especially the ovaries!
I hope that this does not get flagged or removed and would, in the spirit of free speech and truth promote free discussion. It is a shame that the all the Big Tech social media sites are censoring any information that goes against government recommendations. That pretty much feels like fascism to me.
TrialSite news is a credible site and does not promote propaganda or misinformation.
- jacquesm 5y ago"I recently learned that these vaccines have likely killed over 25,800 Americans (which I confirmed 3 different ways) and disabled at least 1,000,000 more. And we’re only halfway to the finish line. We need to PAUSE these vaccines NOW before more people are killed. " No, this is not credible, yes, it is propaganda and misinformation.
- mikevm 5y agoEven if 50% of the claims listed on the site are right, it's pretty worrying. Your dismissal of everything because of one statement is rather strange. I wonder where this blind allegiance to the vaccine safety claims comes from.
- jacquesm 5y agoThis is pure bullshit, if that is what is on that site then the rest of it simply no longer deserves consideration. There is no 'blind allegiance' here, there is simply the note that your disclaimer notwithstanding this is not a trustworthy source by any stretch of the imagination. It's anti-vaxx propaganda pure and simple. In the spirit of truth this should be flagged and removed because it isn't truthful. If you really wanted the truth then you'd be doing a study in biology with a specialization in virology, rather than to push this junk. Check out the rest of these: https://news.ycombinator.com/from?site=trialsitenews.com https://news.ycombinator.com/from?site=trialsitenews.com Claims of fascism and of censorship are outrageous, assuming you even begin to use those words in their original meaning.
- mikevm 5y agoYou don't have any authority on the subject, therefore your claims of what is bullshit and what isn't can be safely ignored. You also provided no counter arguments and immediately called for flagging and removing the post - this is a tactic used by authoritarians. How about this article by Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of mRNA vaccines? https://trialsitenews.com/bioethics-of-experimental-covid-vaccine-deployment-under-eua-its-time-we-stop-and-look-at-whats-going-down/ https://trialsitenews.com/bioethics-of-experimental-covid-va... People with your mindset have been also blindly pushing the "natural origins" hypothesis of the virus, which is now most likely false. I do not just blindly trust scientific authorities anymore. This is essentially "left wing fascism" where the tech companies are censoring any views that oppose the ideas pushed by their party.
- jacquesm 5y agoNo, that's not good enough, for reasons outlined elsewhere. Now please take this crap of HN and go join your buddies in the conspiracy zone. It is highly disturbing that you would push this junk here while claiming all sorts of protection should be awarded due to your personal beliefs clashing with accepted scientific viewpoints. And your appeals to authority have been noted and rejected, that is not how science works, trialsitenews is only showing one side of the story: 'vaccines bad' and does not shy away from pushing ridiculous narratives in order to achieve whatever nefarious goals it has. Stop spreading disinformation.
- mikevm 5y agoI know full well how Science is supposed to work, but in the real world it's not always like that, unless you're naive. I'd provide examples, but I'm not interested in engaging with a fucking idiot who uses nothing more than ad-hominem attacks and immediately asks for censorship. How illiberal.
- dragonwriter 5y ago> (which I confirmed 3 different ways) …but for some reason only support by citing a tweet, in which the poster first asserts that they have learned that up to that number have been killed (i.e., that it is an upper bound on the actual figure), but then says that they “bet” that it is actually a lower bound. Presumably, the cited tweet is the strongest of the three methods of verification (because why would you cite only your weaker support), which doesn’t disprove the claim (absence of evidence not being evidence of absence) but does justify dismissing it until someone can provide something that has at least the vague shape of actual evidence.
