I love older cars, and currently race an LS swapped RX8 - but my daily driver is almost always something new every ~4 years or so. I consider it part of my entertainment budget, and while I don’t love eating the depreciation I’ve done fairly well over the years picking cars which have held their value (generally due to their niche appeal).
