macOS 11.3+ battery settings greyed out due to missing padlock icon
- herpderperator 5y agoLike the post mentioned, I also saw the padlock icon show up at the bottom very briefly after clicking "Battery" in System Preferences and then it went out of view. Going to a different category like Network and unlocking it there also unlocked the battery settings so that seems to be the workaround for now.
