No discussion about EVs is complete without mentioning the batteries. They are extremely environmentally toxic, and get depleted with time. Not good.

- thatswrong0 5y agoFrom what I’ve read, its cheaper to recycle certain materials from old EV packs than it is to mine new material from the earth. If this is true and continues to be the case, it seems like one of those problems that will luckily solve itself because it is economical.
