Knights Launch Post-Mortem
- onli 5y agoBit of HN-relevant context: Knights is a text-based mobile game with an interesting concept behind it. https://egamebook.com/ https://egamebook.com/ describes that a bit more, and there was at least one frontpage HN submission for a demo project in the past, https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15380024 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15380024. Game turned out very well, but it goes to show how hard it is to be successful in the mobile app space if you get those ratings and it's still not enough to be commercially viable.
