More evidence suggests Covid-19 was in US by Christmas 2019
- simonblack 5y agoNot only in the US. I suspect the chest infection I had in Northern Australia for about six weeks starting at the end of December 2019 was probably Covid. I had many ancillary problems (digestive system with swallowing problems, skin rashes, angioedema, etc) and what I suspect was a mild cytokine-storm that was extremely unpleasant at the end of January. All told, about six weeks of strange and unusual symptoms. Also, when I finally received the Covid jab, I had practically no reaction at all, which is what I would expect if I already had the Covid antibodies in my system.
- rurban 5y agoShould have been there earlier. From this major event in Wuhan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Military_World_Games https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Military_World_Games End of October 2019 with 140 participating nations and 9308 athletes a couple of them could be traced to carry Covid-19 to the west. Esp. Italy and Iran, probably also the US. But there was no bigger outbreak then, this came later with Chinese travellers.
