Composting releases CO2 into the atmosphere. Despite the treehugging vibe, it actually makes global warming worse.
- developer93 5y agoI believe that's only true for anaerobic composting, the stinky one, using mostly greens (nitrogen). Aerobic composting, which most people do in their back yard, mixing greens and browns (carbon) is fine.
