I have an Aeron from ~2006 which is still in good condition, virtually no drop in the pellicle mesh despite near daily use for 12 years. The foam under the seat near the front lip has died a little, and the arm rest pads needed replacement once. In 2018 I purchased an Aeron Remastered which for some reason I did not care for, it seemed to tilt differently in the seat and I felt the front lip more on my legs. So I sold it and purchased an Embody, which I've been very happy with so far. I think they are only for commercial buyers, but our office uses SitOnIt Torsa chairs (https://www.sitonit.net/productcatalog/torsa_taskchair.html https://www.sitonit.net/productcatalog/torsa_taskchair.html) which I have found to be quite nice in quality and comfort.
