I'm no designer but I've seen amazing ones work. Could it be that this is just marketing talk unrelated to actual design philosophy underneath because it is not targeting people related to that?
- slownews45 5y agoBut the modern interfaces are relative junk from my view with some exceptions. Just basic things like putting focus on an input field of a pop-up dialog. I get that isn't sexy but it IS efficient. They should focus more on the later and less on the sexy gradient / look stuff.
- sixothree 5y agoThis may seem crazy but that was one of the major accomplishments of the google.com search page. Before that when you navigated to a search engine, you still had to click the search box. The cursor was not located in the box for you.
