She's making a reasonable request about a matter that's between you and her. Accommodate her request and just have the meeting in the hallway. As you get more experienced in management you'll realize that you'll have to treat or interact with all of your employees slightly differently for dozens of reasons. It's not favoritism; it's kindness and consideration.
