If the idea works out, maybe the company will build more stores. If not, the store can either stick around as a vanity project or can go back to being office space. I'd love to be proven wrong, but somehow I doubt they'll succeed. Ironically, customer and user interaction is probably Google's biggest challenge, in fact I'd dare say it's its first challenge, AI is a solid second.
