I traveled Asia and Europe for 20 months with my off-road camper and Maps.me (OSM data) was one of my two tools for routing and (geographical) trip planning. And I missed only a hill shading feature, nothing else. For the hill shading (orientation in the mountains) I used another app. It is amazing how well it works. Driving tracks in the Gobi (steppe in Mongolia) or in the Lut (desert in Iran)? Well, OSM data is well enough that is just works. Thank you, all the mappers out there, who contribute to the collective knowledge of humankind!
