- Ericson2314 5y agoPresidential systems are unstable are known to be unstable. It's high-time the US stopped thinking it is exceptional. I don't want war, but I think taking the threat of war, mass unrest, etc. seriously is the only way we're going to be able to muscle-through the reforms needing to avoid it. Our current institutions are massively politically unsustainable, and doing nothing about it is not going to maintain the peace in the long term.
