Show HN: I created a Spongebob themed room in WebGL/WebXR
- astlouis44 5y agoHey HN folks, this is an interactive virtual world I created on the no-code 3D/VR web platform called VRland. Being a lifelong fan of Spongebob, I created this experience for fellow Nickolodeon fans to experience what it would be like to take a walk down Conch Street. It's all done in threejs/Aframe. The environment itself was created by a 3D artist, with seperate models for Spongebob and Patrick being placed inside the room. I then upload a MP3 audio file of the theme song into the world, along with a couple GIF's. Please give feedback on this and what I could improve. Also keep in mind this is only one example of what's possible in VRland. If you can dream, you can build it!
- masterspy7 5y agoGraphics were surprisingly good for the browser. It's fun to walk around Bikini bottom :D
