In purely practical terms, upsetting a small number of constituents is not nearly as risky as upsetting a corporation such as Comcast, Verizon, and ATT. I say small number because the average Ohioan isn’t even going to realize this is happening. And, the most a citizen can do to voice their displeasure and hold the politicians accountable is casting a single vote to the opposition. And that’s assuming this is a dealbreaker that would cause someone to cross sides. Meanwhile these big companies can spend wildly on political opponents, hit pieces, or withhold donation money.
