Weather + Business. Startup climate. I need to build a network to fundraise for a seed round. Also gotta live cheaply.
I am mid 20s, cofounder is older based in Europe. We work remotely. No need to hire people anytime soon for anything critical, just some remote contractors from time to time.
Which cities do you recommend?
- warrenm 5y agoYou may be able to "live cheaply" in any of those cities ... if you can get a room mate or 3 :) Or very lucky on an apartment / rental house For weather, I'd say San Jose/Silicon Valley or Austin. It can get hot, but it's mostly dry[ish] Unless you like high altitudes, I wouldn't go for Denver (though it's very pretty) Miami's gonna be hot, humid, and susceptible to hurricanes Provo / Salt Lake City has a decent tech scene Atlanta and the Raleigh/Durham area of NC are also good Pittsburgh's also and up-and-coming startup locale You could also just stay where you are, since you're planning to be 100% remote (except for sales visits)
