There is only one electrician I know of who doesn’t charge 2-3x to come to our exurban neighborhood. That’s because he lives in the area. Unfortunately, he’s moving away soon. So, at least here, there is a shortage of electricians.
- SilverRed 5y agoThat doesn't sound like a shortage, just sounds like you live far away from a city so it costs more for travel times.
- wayoutthere 5y agoRight; there is a premium you pay for living in an area with low density. The housing may be cheaper but services in general are a lot more expensive.
