If you change to ranked-choice-voting then you don't have to form 2 factions to capture votes.
- zalo 5y agoEven worse, two parties with animosity against each other will rank each other at the bottom of stack, allowing the generally amicable independents to sweep the election. It’s the perfect way to incentivize depolarization.
