Video shows brazen theft at S.F. Walgreens as shoplifting drives out retailers
- imapeopleperson 5y agoI wouldn’t stop him either knowing it’s possible he has a weapon.
- babesh 5y agoI wonder why they don’t steal from the tech offices in the SOMA.
- Kalium 5y agoIt's rarely as easy to walk right in. Plus I imagine it's harder to fence Aeron chairs than cosmetics and detergent. Plus the company will probably actually call the police, file reports, and submit evidence. Walgreens will write it off and the amount isn't big enough for SFPD to concern themselves with.
- zthrowaway 5y agoAnd after filing a report etc, you can’t even trust the DA there to even prosecute. SF is a complete mess.
