I remain unsurprised by these new findings, because past conversations around this topic would always be shut down or dismissed, leading to no serious, balanced conversation. Common sense and reasonable speculation were met with vitriol and people tried to claim a moral high road of "trusting the science". Just like with the lab leak theory not actually being "debunked", this too is further evidence of how echo chambers, politics, and groupthink have corrupted discourse.
