I have an XPS15 and an M1 MacBook Pro sitting side by side all day. I'll concede the MBP is far superior in build quality. The speakers, the trackpad, the body... they're nearly flawless. XPS is running ArchLinux, the Mac is running macOS. The experience between the two is night and day. Having to alias all the stuff that runs in emulation mode, having to deal with The Apple Way. Having file sharing that is spotty at best.... I really hate it. But dang the machine sure is beautiful.

It is exactly the same as saying Fonts typefaced dont matter and they are all the same in 1980s. Sometimes all I ask is the other manufacture just to copy Apple MacBook to the atomic level. There should be a lot of learning in doing so for them. The only notebook I see that is taking a lot of MBP design learning is actually Microsoft Surface Laptop. Still let down by its software though. And my god the leaked Windows 11 is still awful.
